AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MAYOR AND COUCILEMN SALARIES
The City Council of the City of Wabasso, County of Redwood, State of Minnesota ordains as follows:
Section 1. As per new City code (laws 1973, Ch. 123), salaries may be changed without the possibility of an election on the question, and new salaries become effective following the next local election. This change in law is a result of the fact that Article II, Section 4 of the City code law repealed Minnesota Statutes 412.181, and Article V, Section I codified as 412.027 explicitly makes Minnesota Statutes 415.11 applicable to all statutory cities after January 1, 1976.
Section 2. As pursuant to law, the new slalary of the Mayor shall be $450.00 per year and the of the council shall be $300.00 per year each.
Section 3. The ordinance shall be effective on January 1, 1977.
