The Wabasso Summer Recreation programs are provided through a collaboration between the City of Wabasso and Wabasso Public Schools. A comprehensive program that incorporates baseball, softball, golf, volleyball, and basketball as well as academic enrichment offerings such as art and computer coding are offered for the youth of the community. Swimming lessons are also an important part of the summer recreation experience.
The Wabasso Area Baseball Association supports baseball programs from beginners to adults. The youth programs, Mites, Midgets, and Rookies provide the communities youngest ball players with opportunities to build foundational skills, learn sportsmanship, and have fun! The association also supports the Legion and Amateur teams for those teens and adults ready to play competitive baseball.
640 Fitness Center
Wabasso's community wellness center, 640 Fitness Center, is located at Wabasso Public School and provides residents a state of the art fitness opportunity. Membership to the fitness center provides access from 4:30am-11:00pm seven days per week. 640 Fitness houses cardiovascular equipment, universal weights, band, ball, and dumbbell workout stations. Membership also provides access to a beautiful weight room, walking track, and access to fitness center locker rooms.
