Once again, on the first Friday in December, Wabasso is hosting Winterfest to signal the start of the holiday season. Join friends and neighbors downtown as Main Street lights up with Christmas decorations and holiday cheer! Bundle your family up as you enjoy horse and buggy rides throughout the town, visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and enjoy special treats at local businesses. Take a moment to warm up at the Public Library while making a holiday craft, then head to find the perfect spot to experience the spirit of Christmas during the holiday light parade with over 20 Christmas themed floats that show off our local businesses and clubs. The last event of the evening is a dazzling firework display sponsored by the Wabasso Commercial Club. We think dancing to DJ Bob, sponsored by the Wabasso Lions at the Community Center, would be the perfect way to kick off the 2023 Holiday Season.  Happy Holidays! In case of inclement weather, please visit the Facebook event “Winterfest 2023” for updates.
