After a prolonged absence the Wabasso rabbit is coming home. The rabbit had been a community fixture along Highway 68, but over the the years it had deteriorated. The City Council contracted with a fabricator who agreed to furnish two aluminum replicas in exchange for the rights to the fabrication mold. After many delays and a drawn out odyssey, the statue is anticipated to be returned to its the original location on Friday, November 19, 2021.
