Hydrant Flushing Notice
The City of Wabasso has begun its annual hydrant flushing. Flushing the entire City typically takes 2-3 weeks. Weather or other high-priority maintenance needs may result in changes to this schedule.
During hydrant flushing, residents may experience short periods of cloudy, discolored water and low water pressure. Discolored water usually contains some rust or residues that have accumulated on the interior of water mains. There are no health threats associated with using the water, however the City recommends not washing clothes until faucet water runs clear. Discolored or cloudy water usually clears up within one to two hours.
