The City of Wabasso has been treating the drinking water system to reduce the levels of manganese in the water. As part of the treatment process the city will shock and backwash the water filter media, which takes approximately 24 hours. While the city should have a sufficient supply of water in its tower, residents are asked to conserve water usage between 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24th and 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 25th.
